Ok ok, I know that its fun to play along to Kintland and to read into and learn about the "history" because, that is the Kintlandian history. However, what about how Kintland got that history? Or was ever even created in the first place into our real world? This is the "REAL history" of Kintland.
I (the developer of Kintland and this website) had gotten back from a trip to Montreal Canada in august of 2024, and i enjoyed experiencing a different country apart from the united states for the first time in a few years (im american). So i remembered that back in the first grade i had created an island country in my mind simply titled "my island" and whenever i stated a fact about it i said "in my island" and then gave a fact to my freind at the time who soon enough copied my island idea and created a country of his own. These ones were not on paper and were not realistic, like mine had 99 Trillion people living in it and his had giant cars for everyone to drive.
I like the idea of a made up island nation because if it where connected to other countries, it would interfier with their geography, but an island does not do that. At the time i had an interest in Finland and Russia and wanted to move to Finland and stuff, (and i still am interested in Russia but not moving there) so i found the perfect maratime area to plop a little island nation on paper this time. I drew a map, then gave it a name, and developed a basic government, and basic facts.
These ideas where the ones that Kintland is still based on. When school started i brought it to school and one of my teachers who i had 2 classes a day with at the time loved the idea and over time he was fine with me fully putting my time into the development and expansion of Kintland. That school year ended and a TON of things were developed, most of which are the things that are made for Kintland today.
Then over the summer i kind of fell out of the habbit of development, and for the start of the next school year i wasnt working on it at all. Just kind of letting it be not finished but formenting while working on it occasionally. That was happenening untill about march of this year (2026) and this school year when we were talking about doing wire framing, i had the idea to make a website to hold all the information about Kintland so i didnt have to keep it on paper. Before, after i showed it to my tutor at the time, she was so impresed with the work i had done she bought be some sorting binders to keep all the papers organized, because before that happened in early 2025, i had an overloaded clipboard i was using to keep all the papers on and they were un-organized and got all crumpled up.
I made a small starter website on my school account which didnt really go anywhere, and i also realized that because this is my last year at my current school, my school account would be a horrible place to host the site off of because i could possibly lose accsess to it.
So i made an alt-account which is the one this site is hosted by right now. And here i am not only putting all of the information about Kintland from before, but i am also filling in the holes and putting even more ideas on here than before! Kintland is still growing and its almost at the point where i kind of have developed everything there is to develop about Kintland, only soon i have to only make ajustments to it and update things i realize are mistakes.
Oh and by the way, dont worry i still am keeping the papers from before and am actually updating them to fit better with the information on here and with my new ideas, so i can always make a backup site, or if there is a solar flare or somthing, Kintland will still not be lost.
So here and now 2 years after starting Kintland, i am proudly displaying the work i have done. Everyone i show this to is either astonished or very proud. So please enjoy looking at and learning about Kintland, i will put some pictures of Kintlands things through the years below, with the year the object is from.
